All Saints Prayer Shawl Ministry

A small group of church members meet once a fortnight on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm in the back room of the Monument pub opposite All Saints.

We try and include a short bible reading or reflection and of course we enjoy a cuppa together. We make prayer shawls and
scarves and knee blankets to give away to members within the church community and outside who need a special ‘Hug of love’.

Each item is made with prayer and brought to our Communion Services for a blessing before it is packaged and given to the recipient.

We would welcome any knitters, crocheters, needle crafters to join us regularly or occasionally, whenever you can. A lot of our work is done at home, in fact all manner of places! We have plenty of wool and needles for you to use and ask for £1 each
session to help provide materials and refreshments.
